Outreach Ministries
Christ Church responds on a regular basis to local, state, and national levels of need. The parishioners’ response to the needs of others in regard to donations of food, clothing, and money, has been overwhelming. Our congregation addresses international need through donations to Samaritan’s Purse and support of missionary projects in Haiti. Furthering their service to Christ and the community, Christ Episcopal Church provides office space to CASA, a child advocacy group, and supports various local ministries including the Salvation Army and the Clarksburg Mission.
In addition, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meets each Sunday at Christ Church, Clarksburg, and each Thursday at St. Barnabas in Bridgeport. Al-Anon meets each Wednesday at Christ Church, Clarksburg.
